Prof. Dr. Christian Buer
Managing Director
provides operational experience at senior level and leads the management of nemis Hotels.
After studying business administration with a specialization in tourism and transport industry, he gained international project experience at Steigenberger Consulting GmbH. He wrote his dissertation on the topic “Design of holistic management systems in hotels – The importance of information needs, information acquisition and information evaluation for a management system in a holistic hotel operation”. Among others, he was employed by the Arabella Sheraton and the FUNDUS Hotelentwicklungs- und Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH.
Since 2004, Prof. Buer has been a full professor for business administration and hospitality at Heilbronn University. In 2005, he founded Nemis and has since been advising developers, financiers and real estate experts, especially for tourism properties.
Elena Heinecke
Director of Operations
Elena was already involved in the opening of the Moxy Hotel Simmern, where she took on the role of “Captain” and managed the hotel as General Manager for the first two years. Now, as Director of Operations, Elena is involved in the opening and operations of all the hotels.
After her graduation in business administration with focus on international hotelmanagement, she was able to pass through various positions in different hotels, in which she amongst other duties, was responsible for a team.
Michaela Bast
Project Manager
After her apprenticeship in the hotel industry and the Bachelor of Arts in tourism & travel management, Michaela has worked many years in the event management within and outside the hotel industry.
Her longtime experience with Marriott she will now contribute to our projects and support the team in all aspects.
The team is complemented by experienced partners from the hotel and tourism industry.
